Check out organizations working to fight breed discrimination through education and legislative efforts. Pitbull type dogs are of course a major focus, although there are a number of breeds that are often targeted especially when it comes to housing restrictions.

These restrictions contribute to the shelter and rescue system when owners find it difficult to find housing that accepts their pets.
