Baltimore Humane Society - DogFest!

Join us for our annual DogFest event! Come have a fun day with your canine pal and show your support for the shelter animals at the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown, Maryland on Saturday, September 13 from 11am to 4pm with a rain date of Sunday, September 21. 

Get ready for a day filled with a variety of exciting activities for everyone to enjoy!

• There will be exciting games and activities for your dog to participate in, such as the 20-yard dash, tetherball, dog bowling, paw painting, and contests like Best Costume, Catch the Treat, Best Pet Trick, and Musical Sit!
• Be amazed by impressive K-9 demonstrations from the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services K-9 Unit.
• Watch your dogs navigate agility and lure courses, or let them cool off with a swim in our Dippin’ Dogs pool area.
• Participate in TORC, a unique event that combines tricks, conditioning, and obedience skills as teams move through a course and earn points along the way.
• You can also have your dog tested for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, showcasing your dog’s excellent social manners.
• Kids can join in the fun at our Kids’ Kennel, featuring pet-themed arts and crafts, face painting, games, and a bounce house.
• Don’t miss out on delicious treats from our food trucks and shopping at our vendor marketplace!
