Dogs and cats enter our homes with innocence, relying on us to help create the environment and provide the framework that will help determine their short and long-term outcome.
Their safety, health and future rely on the steps we take.
Many well-meaning pet owners are often unaware of how even small measures they take can change the trajectory of their pet’s future.
Sadly, many dogs and cats fall into the rescue system daily in sometimes sudden, but also often predictable ways. Many of these circumstances can be diminished via ownership information, resources and planning.
Gen Wags helps to connect the dots between pet parenting and animal rescue.

Launched initially in 2014 as Generation Wags, Gen Wags is on a mission to provide a new perspective about how pet ownership and the rescue community often intersect, and how to avoid that nexus.

Our “Love Tag Chip” challenge serves to educate pet owners about the
vital role of visible ID tags and microchips in helping to reunite us with our pets
should they go missing.
